Great little attachment, feels solid when attached and works as it was intended to. I’m glad it’s now available as just an attachment instead of having to buy the whole kit with tool included. It didn’t make sense to have to purchase the whole kit if you already had a tool you could attach it to. I started out slowly with my dog and did one paw at a time, adding a paw to each session in time as he got used to it. When I’m finished with all his paws I remove the attachment and switch to a drum sander to round the edges of each nail to make it a little smoother. that’s just a personal preference, I feel more comfortable using a drum instead of the included disc to round the edges. It’s not for every dog, I have 3 and 1 of them wants nothing to do with the tool at all, he gets afraid just hearing the sound of the tool turning on so I leave him be and use traditional clippers. If you’re on the fence about getting one, I’d say go for it!

I am so pleased with how well this worked on my fur babies nails. I was able to put their nails in and grind without causing any pain or getting to close to quick. It worked on both large and small dog. It was not real noisy and did what it was made to do. Definitely recommend.

I use it with the Pet Grooming Nail Guard to buff up my dog’s nails. She’s very picky and hates most noises but doesn’t seemed bothered by this. Overall a good experience for her and I.

this is so easy to use and my dog actually sat still and then went to sleep while I cut his nails, we love it

This cordless rotary tool has alot of power. Great mobility for areas where you can’t have a power cord. Used it to grind down rivets on my chainsaw chain. Thanks for making great products

Got this to trim dog nails (claws) when they get to long. In between grooming appointments. Was using some clippers but was easy to cut short and hurt the dog. With this little tool no more cutting nails short and hurting the dog.

This attachment makes nail trimming so easy. With this product I don’t need someone else to hold my dog while I trim her nails. This is an amazing product. It makes the process very quick and easy.

I own a regular dremel, but bought this because the shield helps the hair on my dogs’ feet from getting caught in the head. The speed is also less which is better, heatwise, when grinding nails.

Makes keeping your pup’s nails trimmed safe and easy. Love it!

In the past I used the sanding drums to trim my dogs nails. They have black nails so it was easier than clipping. This attachment makes it 100x easier. I get their nails done in less than half the time and they fall asleep while I’m doing it. The guard makes it easy to get the right angle. This is probably my favorite Dremel attachment ever.

I have a Dremel 2001 electric and 2 Dremel 7700 cordless tools. The pet nail guard works very well on all 3, and is easy to move from one to the other. First time assembly took a few minutes, but after I got it figured out, it is actually very easy. The guard fits great for my giant dogs’ paws. People with smaller dogs might find it to be too bulky. My only big wish is that the sanding disks were available in a coarser grit. Our saint bernard nails are like tree branches, and the very fine grit wears out very quickly.

Works great on our small dogs.

The ATO1-PGK is a great add-on for the pet lovers. It was eazy to use and worked great. I really enjoyed how easy it was to use and without fear of trimming to far. This is always a fear but when set right there is no worries of getting the nail trimmed correctly and without pain or irritation. I just would just recommend getting your pet use to the sound of the Dremel first and dont just rush into it.

Easy to use; very gentle since my dog gets nervous when her feet are touched; easy to clean; affordable; would absolutely recommend to anyone who can spend the 5 to 10 minutes at home without having to spend extra money at a vet office. I started spending 32 dollars to get my girls nails filed along with the time to drive her to the office and make her even more nervous. Then found out that the tool itself only costs 39. Well worth it 🙂

Ignore the star rating because we can’t actually use it but I want to note that the attachment does not work with the dremel pet tool that it is advertised with as “people also bought” item. It will not fit that model

I tried using this attachment on my cat. He was afraid of the noise and vibrations of the rotary tool. It might be better if the actual tool was made specifically for pets. I was impressed with the attachments ease of use.

I used this earlier today on my chihuahua, he is always hesistant about nail grooming but this was extremely easy and convenient and worked great , the noise is very subtle and is not harsh or does not jar /snag hard , very good quality and compact and easily stored

This works pretty good. It is somewhat small for larger dogs. If you already have a drimel tool this is a good choice, otherwise you can purchase a pet groomer cheaper that a dremel and this attachment.

Still working out how to use it better but it was a good start on learning how to groom the princess…!
