My wife and I highly recommend the AT01-PGK. Very easy to connect together and its safer than nail clippers. Quite and didn’t scare our dogs. Cleans very easy also. Good bye vet bill Great product.

The Dremel 7700 Two Speed Rotary Tool is compact, powerful, and fun to use. The battery pack charges fast and is very impressive on how long it lasts. I have sharpened pruner blades to perfection with it in a fraction of the time than using a file and better control than using a standard grinder. The cutoff wheels work awesome on small jobs like cutting brass ins down flush. I can’t wait to add more bits to my collection!

I decided to give this a try as an upgrade to my cheap nail cutters with a built-in motorized stone grinder for my dog. I own a small deer chihuahua and it can be a bit difficult to use nail cutters to get in between the toes. This attachment worked great although with her small paws it was hard not to have multiple toes and nails near the grinding pad at the same time. I used it on my sister in laws rottweiler and it was a lot easier to grind the nails down. If there was anything I would want to improve it would be to have the attachment use a stone disk orbit of some sort instead of a sanding disk so it would last longer. although I can see why they would want to use the sanding disk instead. It may also have other benefits I am unaware of from there testing besides having to purchase disks on a regular basis. Overall even with the difficulties and issues I had, it is miles above anything else I have used in the past and will continue to use it.

The Dremel AT01-PGK made trimming my 3 dogs nails a lot easier than using basic nail trimmers. The dogs at first were a little hesitant with the noise but once they got used to it, they acted like it was not even there. I felt that this tool was safer on the nails then just clipping them as I worry about cutting them too short. The Dremel AT01-PGK was able to trim the nails back and smooth the edge so no more scratches when our pups decide to jump and play with us. Thank you Dremel!

Much safer than nail clippers works well. My dogs were a little afraid of the sound of the dremel at first took a little time to get them use to it.

The AT01-PGK worked well for trimming my dogs claws (German Shorthair Pointer). I had let them grow a little long, and so I was a bit nervous about how he would take to me filing them down with the dremel tool. I was surprised at the quietness of the tool and the ease of placing the claw in the insert. Controlling the tool while trimming the claws was very easy to do, and it did a pretty good job of not shooting out a lot of dust. There was still some dust that comes out, so make sure you are in an area to deal with that. I did have a few times where the sanding disc slipped off of the head, but I think this was more due to user issues vs the tool. The trimming tool was very easy to figure out how to use and to take on and off as needed. Overall a great tool to take care of my pets needs.

this is a small tool and it fits nice in the hand. I like that the battery pack has the weight of the tool in the back and creates a handle like hold. Only thing that I don’t like is the switch, it only allows for Hi and Lo, and the low speed feels a little too fast.

We used the AT01-PGK attachment to trim our pet’s nails and let me tell you, it was FANTASTIC! I’ve sent our dog to the groomers for ages because I was never sure I was trimming our dog’s nails correctly, but I can save all that money now, thanks, to the Dremel Pet Grooming Kit. Trimming our pet’s nails was simple. We started off by letting her hear the sound of the Dremel at the lowest RPM setting and having her get used to that sound, and then we grabbed one paw and started trimming her nails using the kit. The look on her face was priceless – it’s as though she was enjoying a day at the spa!I love that I can do this myself now without fear of clipping too much of her nail off, plus saving all of that money I was paying the groomers is a huge plus!

I use the AT01-PGK Pet Grooming Nail Guard Attachment on my Dremel 7700-1/15 7.2V MultiPro Cordless. At first my dog Paisley was a little apprehensive. I let her sniff and get use to the sound. After the first couple of nails, the rest went well. The AT01-PKG is well designed, easy to clean. I think it is a much easier way to trim nails. Dremel has a tool for everything.

This is a great tool for trimming dog nails. I just ordered it less than a month ago and used it and it does a great job guiding for a smoother nail trim instead of just using a dremel freely. It has 2 levels for short or shorter nail grooming but when using with my Dremel 8220, only 1 level can be used for the drill bit is too close and no room to operate it. With my dog’s nails, the sanding paper disc is pretty much used up in 1 full trimming of all nails. So looks like I would use more of the type of sanding discs supplied with the kit. This grooming tool does fit as stated with the Dremel model 8220.

Love this attachment. Put it on mt cordless machine and was able to trim my dog’s nails while watching tv. Took a bit for my fog to get used to sound and vibration, but I love no sharp edges on his nails.

I used this on our medium sized dog. She’s usually very wary of powered nail trimmers, but this didn’t seem to bother her. I was able to quickly trim her nails with no fuss. The guard makes it easy to do without worrying about going too far.

Assembly was easier then convincing my dog that it was a good thing.
