Dremel has provided me this product in exchange for an honest review. I have found this to be a very fast way to change consumable cutting wheels rather than fuss with a tiny screw as I have in the past. It is a bit pricey, however.

When I bought my first Dremel – I used to have to change out the cutting wheels using a small screw. I dropped that thing more than once and truthfully, I dreaded using the cut off wheels . Then I tried this mandrel – no messing around! I was able to change out the cutting discs with ease. This item belongs in your tool kit along with all your Dremel accessories. This mandrel works very well to hold cutting wheels. Safe and secure operation is key when you are throwing sparks everywhere cutting metal. The only reason I didn’t do 5 stars is because it is tricky to pull the housing down and simultaneously get the blade on. The toughness if pulling down is good for security, but definitely something that will get better with practice.Dremel has provided me this product in exchange for an honest review.

I haven’t used it enough to give it a 5 star rating. It’s been reliable enough to earn 4 stars. I was suspect that it wouldn’t hold the cutting tool secure enough not to vibrate at high speeds. I’ll rate it again in another couple weeks.

This is a pretty cool little product it is easy to put a wheel on and very quick to switch out different types of wheels very good idea I did like how quick and easy it was to take a wheel on and off the only downside that I found was that if you tried to use the side of the wheel and not the cutting edge it will slightly angle from the 90° off the mandrel which is only important if you’re trying to use this side of the wheel as a guide or hold it against something. But even that’s not a deal breaker it’s still a very cool Mandrel for using with your dremel.Dremel has provided me this product in exchange for an honest review
