I’ve been using Dremel products off and on for over 10 years and when I first got my hands on this nifty EZ lock mandrel, I was a little skeptical. I was a little concerned of the free play that is noticeable when just handling it with a Max Life cutting wheel attached and not in use.Much to my surprise there seemed to be no play when the tool was in motion and this little innovative tool makes life a lot easier. It completely removes the hassle of the old way of replacing cutting wheels. Just slide it down, spin your cutting wheel 90 degrees, remove it, repeat. I can’t wait to see more compatible accessories!Dremel has provided me this product in exchange for an honest review.

This takes a bit of practice/use to get the hang of it. I have issues with arthritis in my hands and it took me a bit to get the hang of the spring and getting my cutting wheel to attach. Used this for cutting mounted wall tiles. Worked brilliantly – was pushing it but the blade was pretty much “blunt” after a cut of about 3 ft. Otherwise the answer to what I thought was going to be a nightmare!!

This is a pretty cool little product it is easy to put a wheel on and very quick to switch out different types of wheels very good idea I did like how quick and easy it was to take a wheel on and off the only downside that I found was that if you tried to use the side of the wheel and not the cutting edge it will slightly angle from the 90° off the mandrel which is only important if you’re trying to use this side of the wheel as a guide or hold it against something. But even that’s not a deal breaker it’s still a very cool Mandrel for using with your dremel.Dremel has provided me this product in exchange for an honest review
