I bought this to replace a Ridgid blade that wore down after a reasonable amount of use including some recent metal cutting. I use it in a Ridgid multi-tool, and it fits fine using the included Dremel/Bosch adapter. Being a carbide blade, this one is rated to cut almost anything. I have only used it on wood, but it is a good blade that should work fine in the other materials.

I bought this for cutting off some nail/screws that I could not pry out. It works perfectly with my oscillating tool to make a nice clean cut. However, tat is not what I am most impressed with, it also sliced right thru some of the hardie siding I am installing and is great for making those more intricate cuts.

Is this the best general purpose oscillating tool blade you can buy? Probably not. Is this the best general purpose oscillating tool blade you can buy if you have a DeWalt oscillating tool? I think so. This is partly because there simply are not very many options available in stores that fit DeWalt tools. I’ve probably owned 10 of these blades over the past few years and they work great in wood/plastic, and moderately well for light metal (screws, etc.). They are definitely not a metal cutting blade. For me, they always seem to break at the point where they connect to the tool – there’s just not a lot of material there to maintain strength overtime.

The blade durability is outstanding.

Was very disappointed in the blade and especially for the price I paid. Maybe it’s good for some jobs but not for cutting some drywall on a constant job.

Bought this to clear some excess mortar from about 200 square foot of 12×12 tiles before grouting. It worked great for what I needed it for cutting thru the driedmortar mix like butter. I did notice though when I got near the wall a bent over nail and was surprised this blade didn’t just cut thru it as well. It did cut thru it but you could definitely tell it was a struggle. Then again by that point the blade may have dulled from all the mortar.

At the beginning I tried a DEWALT blade but it did not work. This one worked like magic.

Wore out a non-carbide blade before I got this to cut the wire/concrete (1/2 inch thick). This did the job without much wear on the blade. Recommend always using the right tool for the job. I was in a rush and tried to make do with what I had, a blade designed for wood. Big mistake!

I used it to cut through a damaged and stuck deadbolt. Blade fit between the door the door jamb and cut the metal bolt for easy removal. One time use on a think piece of metal.

This is a great, strong blade! The oscillating tool is a must if you have remodeling on your agenda and this blade handles hardiboard, wood, nails, you name it!

Needed a metal-cutting blade for my Rockwell oscillating tool. This Dremel brand offered what I needed…carbide tip and universal fit, as it can be attached to several different manufacturer brands. Even with the carbide tip they really do not last very long when cutting metal. I was barely able to complete my cutting job about the same time that the blade was shot. I recommend having an attitude that the blade will be short lived and to just go ahead and purchase a multi-pack. I’m not dissatisfied with the blade because I finished the task.

lasted longer than standard blade
