Great for hobbies and home improvement projects, the Dremel Saw-Max easily makes precise, clean and straight cuts in a wide variety of materials using compact cutting wheels. It’s 1/3 the size and weight of a typical circular saw so you have the capability of tackling plunge and flush cuts with one hand. A lock-on button makes it even more comfortable during extended use. The worm-drive gearing system means you won’t sacrifice power either. It offers a high level of control and depth of cut so there’s no need to haul out another saw to finish.

I purposely bought the Dremel Saw Max to make specific cuts in porcelain tile. The saw wasn’t powerful enough to make the cuts. My suggestion would be to use a wet saw.

Nice saw and cuts very fast and clean. The only reason not a 5 star is I used it to cut a piece of THIN sheet metal and the blade was destroyed after cutting a 2.5 foot section. One blade for one cut is not acceptable. I do hope that they improve the quality of their blades.

I can’t believe we’ve survived repairs and DIY this long without this. powerful , easy to use and control and there might be a few times I reach for another tool but we use this majority of the time Great for trim, small boards, drywall, I could go on. Love the fact it comes with a carry case A must have for us

This saw is easy to put together, to handle, and to put way. I have used it to cut wood boards and iron bars, and it worked great. With it for small jobs, I do not need the much larger electric saw any more. I do not use it on a daily basis, so I cannot say much about its durability/reliability. But, I have purchased it for over two years, and it still works like new. I highly recommend it, especially to someone, like me, only needs to use it occasionally.

The saw cut well. It has adjustable depths. it does NOT have the ability to change the cutting angle of the face to cut things at an angle. For instance cutting a door jam horizontally at a 45 degree angle. I bought this saw to get into tight spots, but the lack of ability of change the fence angle means I have to use my big saw.

Love this saw. As a DIYer, this saw allows me to do things I couldnt do before without buying the bulky, one purpose saws.

The blades SM510 aren’t cheap and have too short life for the price. For the price of 6-7 blades, I can buy a new tool….
