Great for hobbies and home improvement projects, the Dremel Saw-Max easily makes precise, clean and straight cuts in a wide variety of materials using compact cutting wheels. It’s 1/3 the size and weight of a typical circular saw so you have the capability of tackling plunge and flush cuts with one hand. A lock-on button makes it even more comfortable during extended use. The worm-drive gearing system means you won’t sacrifice power either. It offers a high level of control and depth of cut so there’s no need to haul out another saw to finish.

- Versatile cutting system for cutting wood, plastic, metal, tile and masonry
- 6 Amp motor delivers 17,000 RPM
- Superior line of sight to facilitate precision work

I’ve seen infomercials on this type of versitile circular saws. However I felt that I should trust the Dremel brand. I am glad I did! Wonderful tool wish I had this twenty years ago.

This saw has a flush cutting blade that is great for jobs where you need a flush cut off.The depth gauge is easy to adjust. The blades change easy. I have used all of the blades on a project and every blade was great.I had to cut off some flooring I had installed and the 3/8″ cut was easy and perfect for this tool. The vacuum attachment made cleanup easy. There is included a fence for cutting conduit and pipe. Also, since it only cuts to 3/4″ depth, a jig for cutting a 2 x 4 is included. Worked fine.

The only reason I can’t give this unit 5 stars is because I have to still do the final work. Otherwise this unit is extremely handy to have on the job site.

I bought about a month ago and have used on wood and ceramic tile. The all or nothing speed was a little tricky to master as I would usually only have one hand on the tool and the other on the part to cut I would have to fight with it to hold steady.

very light weight, easy to use, bought extra attachments (saws, mider helper, straight edge guide) only thing I would like on future models would be a lasr light , simmilar to the one on the rockwell Model.

This little saw worked perfectly for cutting my backsplash tile with a diamond blade (included). It is so easy to hold and maneuver instead of using a skill saw or a renting a wet saw. It will also come in handy for cutting bottom of door trim when I install new floor and need to fit it under the trim. Easy to interchange the different blades and it even comes with a “chop saw” option which I haven’t tried yet. I will get a lot of use out of this saw remodeling my house. Love it!

I bought the SM20 one afternoon…used it the next day in making home repairs. The SM20 cut through the exterior panels like they were butter. The SM20 is so easy to use and “FAST”…also, plunge-cuts are a snap and accurate too. I’ve had the SM20 for several months now and have used it on wood and metal…works great on both. Thanks for a great product, Dremel.

It heats up so fast that it is hard to hold onto as well as the masonry blades are cheap compared to the rotozip product. Spent far too much money for tool to have to replace 6 blades during a bathroom remodel. 6!

Very good saw. Has a very smooth cut. The cut is as smooth as any big saw I have seen. It is light weight, easy to use. Lot better than a regular skill saw

This tool was easy to use. As a woman it is important for me to use a tool I can handle and to not be afraid. This tool allowed me to complete my projects. I also like the fact that I can get the needed assessories to complete any project.

Price was better than the popular big AMZ. since it came with blades. Works great. Highly recommend to women who do not want to work with a bigger saw.

I bought this for my husband as a birthday gift. A few months prior he used this tool on a project he was doing with a friend. He couldn’t say enough about his friend’s Dremel Saw. He paneled their entire sun room using this tool. When he opened his gift on Sunday he was so happy with my choice. He was like a kid at Christmas.

Only had the saw-max for about a week so far not impressed. First thing I wanted to do was make a few simple miter cuts using the miter guide which I purchased along with the saw max. I’m no master carpenter but I’m not a beginner either. I followed the instructions, lined everything up and two things happened. One, the saw tore up the miter guide, (see photo), two the blade did not even cut all the through a 5/8-inch board. I know I must have done something wrong, but I even watched a video on this and at this point at a loss of what I did wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
