not to big, not to small, just what I needed it for.

I have owned mine for a few years. It has become my go to tool for cutting plywood and other thin stock. I have occasionally used the metal blade also, with very good results. Much easier to handle than my large circular saw and the cuts in wood are very smooth. I cut up to and including 3/4 inch plywood with it. It can get hot but I find that usually happens when I push it rather than let the saw do the work. My only observation about room for improvement is that the flat surface that rides on the workpiece while cutting is plastic and it could be a little stiffer. If trying to make a precision cut at exactly 90 degrees you have to be careful that you do not rock or twist the saw because it is possible to get a little flex in that flat base so your cut could be very slightly more or less than 90 deg. if you are not careful. That flat base allows cuts to be made as close as about 9/16 inch from the edge of the base, i.e., if you are trying to trim the bottom off of an existing door jamb.
