The Dremel Ultra-Saw Tool Kit does everything the Dremel Saw-Max can do, and more. With a 7.5 Amp motor and durable drive train, the Ultra-Saw delivers more power for making long cuts. A metal foot and guard resist the heat generated by heavy-duty jobs like grinding and cutting metal. Large, 3.5 in. and 4 in. cutting wheels provide fast cutting speeds and improved performance in a wide variety of materials. Plus, with exclusive accessories, the Ultra-Saw can also perform surface preparation tasks like removing paint, rust and thin-set mortar.
- 7.5 Amp motor delivers high performance in tough applications
- Fast cut speed to rip through plywood and cut more metal
- Added durability and improved drivetrain to last three times longer than the Saw-Max
- Metal foot and guard to resist heat produced when cutting hard materials
- 3-in-1 tool – go beyond cutting and flush cutting with surface preparation applications including rust, paint, and thinset removal
- Excellent line of sight for precise, confident cuts

Handy little saw. Put in new baseboards and it did a good job. Not like a table saw because you have to steady it with your hand, but I knew that before purchasing it.

Great little saw. Cuts everything very easily, lightweight, easy to use with one or two hands. Great addition to your tool arsenal as you can get it out and make a quick cut or use for hours for lots of cuts. Can’t believe it took me so long to add this to my tool belt.

A wonderful Dremel product. Comes in handy I don’t have to get out the bigger saw and it gets the job done. I should have bought a long time ago. I haven’t used it for tile yet but I’ll use it shortly.

Better than I expected, and I expected a lot. Cut through 3/4″ birch like it was butter. Made a good project great.

I purchased this saw as a replacement for my circular saw that died. It is so much more versatile and easy to use. It works on small objects and larger projects too. Easy to store. A pleasure to use.

Works great! Easy to use even with hands that don’t have much grip strength. One thing I would like, is if it would bevel cut so I could make 45 degree cuts when installing trim molding. Had it for about a month, replacing all the trim molding in my home.

I’ve had this saw for a while. Bought it because it is lightweight. It’s great for cutting boards but recently it came in handy for a remodeling project at my daughter’s house. Cuts flooring and trim like butter.

Does exactly what I need it to do, cut metal!

I bought this product as it was advertised as being variable speed. Unfortunately it is not. I can still use it for cutting plywood, etc. but it gets very hot when I use it to cut down an aluminum door, I believe a variable speed motor in conjunction with an aluminum cutting blade rather than an abrasive blade would have been better, similar to how a jigsaw can cut through aluminum fairly fast.

was satisfied with my purchase, very handy tool.

I was very impressed with how this saw cuts tile. The diamond blade was an extra 15.00, but it did an amazing job. I would have had to spend more than this to rent a real tile saw. This saw is seriously cool.

I own several Dremel tools and have used each on multiple projects with great success. I would recommend them to anyone who has a need for such tools. I would like to see an adapter that can convert the Dremel saw into a mini table saw.

I bought this over a year ag and have used for a variety of purposes from cutting wood to hardware cloth while building a chicken coop. It can be firmly held with one hand, freeing up your other hand to securely hold the work piece.

I bought this saw for a specific purpose – to make rip cuts on vinyl flooring planks. It handled that task with ease. I can see many more uses for it in the future. It is torquey enough to have a little kick to it when you hit the trigger, so just beware of that when using it. Really a great value for a great tool.

I bought this a couple of months ago, initially in connection with some deferred maintenance on my log home – debarking, trimming back knots and so forth. It performed very well, particularly with the flush wood cutting blade. More recently, I used it in an unrelated project in which I really pushed its limits – and it again performed superbly. I have a low end Craftsman table saw with narrow miter gauge fence channels cast into the aluminum table. I bought an Incra miter fence and noticed that the table channels were nonstandard and too narrow for the Incra fence. The remedy was to enlarge the channels. I set up my ripping fence and, registering off that, cut the channel with this saw using the metal cutting blade. I found that a little WD40 on the cut kept things from getting too hot. Here are two pics – one showing the saw in use and the other showing the result. Fantastic!

Needed something to cut precisely through some installed sheet rock but ended up with so much more. This is now the first power tool I choose for a cutting job, more than the circular saw or the radial arm saw. It’s light, it’s precise, it’s fast. it’s easy to handle. It came with several blades to cover most cutting projects. Absolutely the first tool I will choose if possible. Made me a much better craftsman.
