This saw is a must have tool. I’ve used it to cut metal gutters, plywood, brick, and plastic. It’s easy to use, and blade are available for what ever material you need to cut. And it lightweight and easy to maneuver allowing you to make precise straight cuts.

Was easy and comfortable to use for someone who isn’t use to using power tools. I had to make an opening in a cabinet larger to fit my microwave and make a new opening below to access more storage under the microwave. Worked perfectly for my purpose. Wish I would have had this when I was cutting a closet rod shorter. I would suggest getting the attachment that allows you to use a shop vac to cut down on dust.

I own several Dremel tools and have used each on multiple projects with great success. I would recommend them to anyone who has a need for such tools. I would like to see an adapter that can convert the Dremel saw into a mini table saw.

It’s powerful and compact and comes with some good blades. The spindle lock for tightening/loosening the blade bolt doesn’t work well and the depth adjustment lever is loose – making it difficult to maintain any depth other than the lowest. If those two items work(ed) better it would be an excellent purchase.

This is a outstanding saw. I used it to cut mortise in a hardwood floor to flush mount vent registers. The only problem is that the dust port adapter is optional. The port adapter should be included. Increase the price but include the dust port adapter.

Its good. Not sure where the variable speed comes in because mine is not. There are some challenges with the design, like the depth lock inhibits the use of a standard guide you may want to use on that side. I used it for flooring and give it a 3 out of 5 stars. But for cutting grout for tile repairs I would give it a 4.5.
