Very good! A bit more powerful than I needed! My brother thinks I’m gonna eventually give it to him. NOT saved myself a lot of money! Got it on the daily special.would have paid out 4 times the cost of the saw. Well worth it

Ordered this saw for trimming baseboards to install laminate. Haven’t used it for that yet. I will say that it seems well built but it won’t actually cut 3/4”. It will cut all the way through on 3/4” plywood but that’s because 3/4 ply isn’t 3/4” thick. Any, I will write more after my flooring job.

It’s great.

Saw did what I needed, which was remove oak flooring with a flush cut to the wall. It could use a little more power as it bogs done easly.

Love the ease of handling, and ergonomic triggering setup. Lightweight, easy to see your line, cuts metal easily. Could not have completed my project without it.

Task was cutting a number of pieces of 16 gauge metal to fairly precise dimension, the tool performed well

max depth of cut is just 3/4 of an inch, the same as the less expensive Dremel Saw-max 6-Amp Corded Tool which uses a 3 inch blade. This Ultra-saw uses a 4 inch blade but has the same maximum depth cut…. So why pay more for same cutting depth? I now have both, I bought this thinking that with a 1 inch larger blade I would get a deeper cut that would cut through a 2×4, but it doesn’t. Both cut 1/2 inch plywood very easily. The cheaper saw-max is lighter and easier to handle one handed. Would I buy this again… most likely not, to me I don’t see any real improvement in use over the cheaper Saw-max.Dremel does say it has improved drive train that last 3 times longer, so that might be a factor in choosing which one to buy. Maybe if Dremel had made the depth of cut deeper to match the larger blade then it would be worth having this saw. But for me this is now just a back up saw in case the Saw-max stops working.

Light weight saw for small tight cuts where you need a lot of control. Good for trim work and flush cuts.

Dremel ULTRA SAW tool preformed as expected. Cut through 3/4 INCH plywood with ease and ripped 1/4 inch OSB. The weight makes it a little bulky in hand, but worked well after getting used to the feel. Cut straight lines free hand with little trouble. Looks like another useful tool from Dremel to fill the gap in place of a full sized circular saw for smaller projects.

This was perfect for our job, we needed to cut metal curtain hardware down to fit a narrower size and this was exactly the right tool for our job.

Works great, have used for many applications with most blades.Would have liked to have variable speed. Diamond blade not great.

I was unable to cut tile against the wall because of the front frame that extended to the left of the blade. Hope to use the wood cutting blade that extends outside the guard and front frame when I intend to cut out some old sub floor in my upstairs bathroom.
