The product is exactly what I was looking for. The tool is perfect as it can be used with a single hand. The only down side is the limitation in depth cut 3/4″ max. Perfect for trim work or other similar applications.

Planning on framing and setting tile………I required a light, powerful, tight fitting speed cutter. This tool fit the need. Well made with long lasting blades. I also can use the tile cutters and this spring, score concrete paver blocks for the patio. I plan to plunge cut the utility room wall to install and upgrade a loadcenter. There is a concern: the plastic friction action lever holding the tension of the base plate. Will it last? Can it do the job? It had better because I know how to type and know where to complain to the world….The other concern is the carrying case. The lighter, smaller, less powerful Dremel saw had a hard plastic case…well done. BUT, this larger, more powerful and more expensive ULTRA came with a cloth case…??? Why? I paid for more, why cheapen the product with a soft case? I had to find a hard case ….that’s not right.

I am a single mom who needed something to cut boards for shelving, metal pipes on which to hang clothes (hate those wire closet shelve things ), and cutting picture frames etc. Didn’t need a big circular saw . This fit the bill. Love it. Only bad thing is once some of my friends and family saw it, they want to borrow it! Great tool. Highly recommend
