OK, this is not a Circular Saw compatible item ! It is for small jobs, simple jobs like hobby cuts or trim. Paddle switch is a plus. Depth cut is limited to almost 3/4 inch. Compared to a Rotozip saw fsp1000 that has no guide plate bottom, I like this better for control cuts. Rockwell saw handle is ONLY for large handed people. This Dremel is fair for meduim grip hands, the 6.0 amp model is better for smaller hands. 7.5 a vs 6.0 amp unit is the saw blade size difference 3″ vs 4″ blade and grip size. For quick light plywood cuts, it will do good up to 1/2 ” probably, guessing. Not sure how long the pricey blade would last though, not a real toothed blade. So bottom line, a light use utility / hobby type cutter. Open side view of blade allows better sight of cut, when compared to a battery circular saw unit. Problem with using, is it blows saw dust all over the place without vac attachment, but expected.

I bought this saw specifically to remove subfloor in a room that had water damage. This was the best alternative for any saw that had flush-cut capability. It is powerful, cut through Pergo flooring, trim and the wood subfloor with little effort, in fact this saw is so powerful that I could cut in either direction. It is easy to control with the handle and blade changes are quick and easy. I just wish my local HD carried the flush cut blades so I could have an extra.

This saw was awesome right out of the box. Just install the blade and start sawing. I used it to cut several different types of wood and the saw performed great! I will be using this saw on many other projects around the house!

This is an amazing tool, when you see it, you might say it won’t do the job. It did the job and more, I am very happy with it and give it 5 stars and will recommended with my friends and family. The only thing I wish it can with an area to install the vacuum hose.
