Used this drill for wall anchors. Went through tile like butter. Remember to use tape on the surface so as not to scratch or chip the tile. Go at a slow to moderate speed when drilling with light to medium pressure. Drill was strong and remained sharp after drilling six holes. The shorter you hold it in the drill chuck to more accurate you can be with no flexing.

Carbide Tipped 1/4 ” Glass and Tile Drill Bit. It works great when you want to installcertain fixtures in the bathroom walls and you can’t drill thru the ceramic tiles or you have a project that involves drilling thru glass. This 1/4 ” bit is what you need, I had no problem drilling thru ceramic or glass but, you need a good drill to really drill thru with no problem, maybe a high speed drill, good little piece to have in the tool box if you’re into fixing things.

This glass and tile drill bit works surprisingly well from what I can tell. I’ve never used a drill bit to drill a whole in glass so I don’t have anything to compare it too. I got it to drill some drain holes in some glass flower pots and it work well. Drilled a nice hole and didn’t break or chip the glass. Definitely recommend wearing safety glasses and a mask. Recommend for anyone needing to drill holes in glass

This bit is fine for about 2 holes then it’s shot. I found later that if you keep some water dripping on it as you are drilling it lasts much longer. I had 10 holes to drill in ceramic tile for a shower door. I drilled the first 2 with this bit and it was done, then I went to the same bit but a new one and used water drips to keep it cool and it did the last 8 holes no problem. The key to this is to not let it get HOT.

The drill bit works. It does do the job of drilling holes on tile and glass as said, but the issues is that it is very slow to do the process. One thing good about it is it does not walk when starting the drilling, and I really appreciate that. The issue for me is the time being taken to drill one hole. I wish it could do a little bit faster. The holes made in the tile and glass was very clean.
