This is perfect for cleaning metal irrigation threads. I was having trouble putting the sprinkler heads on and the threads had just become rusted or stripped a little. This will fit into a large racket head so you can tighten down and untighten. Home depot competitor has them in stock and not too expensive. Had to get the size larger rachet head but it worked fine.

Pipe die was used to clean old sealant and debris from sprinkler pipes before installing new heads. Worked perfectly for this application. Hex shape is much easier to turn with a wrench than other round dies.
