I needed threads, and this was the right tool. Good price, worked great.

Tapped hole in cast iron, worked without issues, threads cut well and didn’t get clogged up, used only once

This tap was better quality than I expected for the price. Good sharp high speed steel. Needed it to chase the threads on the mounting points on the roof rails of a 2019 Highlander to mount a set of Yakima racks. Worked like a charm. Cut easy and clean. From my industrial sources these are $15 to $25 each. I cannot speak to longevity as I only had 4 holes to chase.
