This tap set worked great to install a hitch on my Honda Odyssey. The weld nuts were very rusty living in Wisconsin. I had tried to clean the threads with PB Blaster and 3 different battery terminal cleaners from the auto parts store. That was jus a waste of money. With a little chase oil and the tapered tap I spent 2-3 minutes per weld nut and they were perfect. Also the tap worked well with my socket set to reach the weld nuts. After 6 rusty weld nuts the tap looked like brand new definitely a quality product.

I ordered these taps to install a hitch on our Honda Odyssey the weld nuts were badly rusted. I used the tapered tap and some WD40 and was able to get each weld nut to a perfect thread with very little effort. The tap was sharp and started very easily. I was able to use my fingers to install the bolts and a ratchet to tighten up.
