I have to spend all day to figure it out why this garbage is not working….

While I’ve owned this product for under 2 years, it took so long to figure out how to set it up, that I’ve only been using it for under 1 year now, and it has completely stopped working! It’s dead!! I’m super disappointed as I was really enjoying using it.

With the new postage regulations requiring a barcode for packages that weigh over 13 ozs. This little printer is worth it’s weight in gold! This is like a little miracle that is making my life so much more pleasant. Thank you Dymo for another great product!! Also, no more wasted half sheet of labels since you only need to print one. Thanks!

We are using this printer for making label for our shipping requirement, it works perfect. The resolution is great, it works for Mac and Windows both which is excellent.

Very simple, easy label printer to use. Simple to load new rolls of labels and it’s more than fast enough to get the job done.

I bought this for my business and it works wonderful . Very easy set up and very user friendly. It had definitely saved me time and money.

I will be printing labels and then it will just stop, it is so frustrating! I work my home business after a regular 9 hour work day and don’t have the time or patience for an expensive item that doesn’t work consistently.

I’m writing this review because I suspect that some of the negative reviews are user errors. It took a little bit to get this little guy set up to work with UPS Worldship and our other shipping programs but it worked fantastic while we used it all the time. We ship a LOT of items during the week and this thing kept up. Only had a few little issues here and there, but in the 4 years that we used it, it was amazing. In fact we still have it. The reason that we no longer use this is because we combined shipping software and ended up getting a printer that we could use the free supplies from UPS. A little more cost effective. But, you CAN use generic labels in this printer. The brand ones are silly expensive compared to the “brand” ones and work just as good. (Added that to counteract the reviews about the cost of the labels). I still have it and we will be using it now to print our barcodes since we just integrated an inventory system into our business complete with barcodes. That is how much I liked the product… I kept it rather than selling it or trashing it. It will come in handy and save money! If you have problems with yours, I suggest getting some help with it. Ours never jammed. Never needed anything but some light maintenance once a year (and it never demanded it, we just do it because that is what we do)! Great little machine. Fast enough also.

I bought the label maker three months ago. The manual is a bit confusing and I found several video tutorials on the web that showed how to switch label sizes easily. The manual is not clear on this. Product is great. We use custom made color labels so jams would be costly. No problems so far. I think they need to update the manual and software to make label changes easier.

The Dymo labelWriter 4XL is hands down one of the best label and postage printers I have used. From setup to use it was a breeze. It works well and quickly allowing me to save time. I would recommend this product to anyone that ships items on a regular basis. It is worth its weight in gold and I would purchase this product in the future. I received a free product for the purpose of my review. Opinions are 100% my own.

It was difficult to get the printer work at first because the cd that comes with it don’t provide what is needed for the MAC operating system. After reading some blogs I saw information that lead me to download the driver from the Dymo website and the setup moved along smoothly from that point. So far it’s a good printer and I look forward to testing it more consistently as business picks up.

This printer is a piece trash it works good for about a month after that it started with one issues or the other. After two months of use, now it showing out of paper error despite that it has printing paper loaded. What a waste of my money.

Get something more dependable. Seems like this thing is always broke down.

I’ve had my printer for a year now. It’s great, when it’s not wasting labels which is 70% of the time. I only use DYMO brand labels and almost exclusively the large size. They are loaded to left and coming straight through the feed. Still, I have a trashcan full of wasted labels and only 3 that printed correctly.

Excellent product using it for my Business purpose

This label printer has given me SOO many problems. It hasn’t helped streamline my business, just make things more difficult to be honest. When it works its great, but when it doesn’t its so frustrating and pointless. Its constantly disconnecting from my MAC and needs so much attention. No other printer has given me this much strife before. If you’re on the fence of getting this printer… DONT! Save yourself the time and gray hair.

I’ve had this printer for four years now and I stopped by the website to buy an extra roll and noticed all of the poor reviews. I’ve never had a single problem with this printer…it’s perfect for my large labels, postage and I just started using it for all of my address labels for regular envelopes too. I highly recommend it!

Loved this label printer when we first got it. Printed quickly and quietly. Then sporadically, after printing a label, it would not stop releasing the labels. I have wasted so many labels from this happening. Right now, can’t get it to work at all. Don’t know what happened. It wasn’t over-used by any means.
