Does a decent job when the ground is dry though does not leave a smooth cut and can see grooves in the cut from the carbide tips. Don’t even think of trying to use this if the ground is wet, this thing does not have the power to cut through it and it cakes up with mud and will not clean the cutting head and will not cut a edge in the ground. If the ground is dry and there is already a sloped edge then this thing will do the job in keeping the edge nice and clean.

Used it once so far as a Redefiner and worked well. Haven’t had a chance to use it as a edger yet. I would give it a Good plus!

We have 3 acres with multiple flower beds. This machine just saved us full day of work plus from the old method of edging by hand.
