it is very powerful.. Use it on low speed more than high. Sure beats struggling to start the old 2 cycle gas trimmer. I am still getting used to the fact that if you fully release the trigger it stops. If you keep just a little pressure on the trigger it will continue to spin like a gas trimmer idling. But It just takes getting used to.

The String Trimmer work OK, but I’m hoping that it lasts. Echo usually has high quality but this particular toolseems cheaply made. Being a consumer and not a commercial user, Echo says there’s a 5 year warranty whichis good to know and have. Batteries for this unit are upwards of $130 or higher which also is an issue for futureneeds.

Upgraded to the Echo from a years old cordless. This is a great trimmer! Very long battery life and only 15 minute charge time. I can trim 3-4 times without a charge!

This is my third Edge trimmer the first two are still working one with the edge tool the other with trimmer. I try and weed eat every day as it is exercise with a purpose. I would only recommend this product for the homeowners who have a reasonable size lawn, NOT FOR COMMERCIAL USE BECAUSE OF ITS BATTERY LIFE. The battery life is useful ONLY if you use the this trimmer at intervals when you’re manicuring your yard. As I expected before purchasing it, it’s a little heavy than gasoline trimmers, that’s because of the battery contributes that weight. But I like the design being a straight shaft trimmer and the bump feed line. I’m happy and totally satisfied so far will this brand ( ECHO ) vs my STIHL gasoline, I guess I’ll have to wait to see what it’s longevity is in it’s performance.
