Beginning my second season with this mower and couldn’t be happier. Lighter to push than a gas mower. Was mowing just a few weeks after elbow surgery. Plenty of power. And with no gas don’t have to worry about bad gas. Amazing.

This review is for my 2nd one of these that I received a few weeks ago. While this new unit is the “new & improved” model, it looks like the same machine that I have used for years but I am assuming that it has new electronics.I love this machine!!! Very easy to use and maintain and does a superior job of cutting grass compared to a gas engine machine. It is light and the handle folds forward and down making it easy to put in a vehicle or even store (like on a wall). No gas. No oil. Low noise that is low enough to carry on a conversation while the mower is operating. No need for ear protection. This newer machine does a great job but I believe it drains the batteries a little faster. ECHO stands behind their products and when my last machine failed, I took it to my nearest ECHO dealer and they called me up to tell me that ECHO was sending me a new one after about 2.5 years of excellent service. I have over an acre to mow so I do have several batteries and chargers and also have every other ECHO 58V tool available. The batteries are interchangeable.

This is an outstanding mower! I was reluctant to change from my gas Toro but glad I did. The Echo mower cuts well and is powerful. It easily cuts long grass. The battery lasts about 40 minutes… plenty of time for my yard.I have been gradually converting from gas to battery powered lawn equipment. I now have a battery powered Echo mower, string trimmer, blower and chain saw. The batteries are conveniently interchangeable for all.Great job Echo!

Perfect for the little nooks and crannies in my yard that the rider can’t get to. Not having to put up with the exhaust fumes of a gas motor makes this indispensable.I said this in my review for the Echo battery powered chainsaw purchase as well, the only reason I am not giving this a 5 star review is because of the battery pack design. It seems that the cells are packed so close together, without any air flow, that it can make them prone to failure from overheating. That being said, Echo has a 5 year warranty on these batteries. Considering the expected lifespan of a rechargeable battery, this is pretty good. Just keep your receipts because the chances you will have to get a battery replaced is pretty good.

Enjoy the Gas Free, low maintenance lawn care. The mower works perfect, low noise, folds up for storage. 4ah battery lasts plenty, and you have 2 positions available. Bag is easy to empty, attach. Highly recommended

This is the 3rd mower bought in my family. We all love that is a quality product, easy to use, quiet and batteries are interchangeable with the echo trimmers of which we have two. The oldest mower is 5 yrs, runs great, next is 3yrs and the ladt about a month ago They all get a weekly workout

I have to wonder why I waited so long to try one of these. Light weight, quick charge, and easy to store. Great purchase for our use, residential size yard is done on a single charge.

Super light weight compared to a gas mower. I was very concerned about not being self propelled. Not an issue. Noise is nearly cut in half. No vibration in the handles. Adjustable handle bar that drops almost far enough for my 7 year old to just about push by himself.

Balanced nicely and cuts well. Compact design is a nice bonus for storage between cuts.

Quiet, clean running, light, and easy to use. Love it so far. I have an extra battery, which is necessary for running more than about half an hour. Would love to see improved battery life.

Great mower, the batteries are interchangeably with my Echo weedwack and blower. I had a landscaping service for 34 years always used Echo equipment.

Bought Echo battery powered mower online to replace my gas powered mower. Very satisfied with purchase. It’s light so it’s easy to maneuver.

I have 2 acres of lawn to mow and most is handled by my John Deere 2320 with 62″ walk on deck, but I have about 1/4 or so by the house that I prefer to mulch with a push mower since it looks much better close to the house. I have 2 vintage Toro aluminum deck mowers, one with a Suzuki 2 stroke (rare) that is starting to die a slow death. I have been seeing a lot of good reviews on many of the newer cordless mowers out there, and put my faith in Echo since I own several Echo 2-stroke gas powered tools that have NEVER failed and work EVERY time. I’ll adimit I was skeptical so I bought the mower and an extra battery. I’ve been pretty good at keeping up with the “push mowing” section of the lawn so I wasn’t making the unit work all that hard. Echo says the 58V battery can provide up to 40 minutes of run time on this mower. I was able to go much closer to an hour mowing over 1/4 acre total. I mowed the front of my house twice, and the back of the house (not quite as large) once. Still had one light indicator on the battery. So far I’m estatic! It cuts and mulches really good and is so stinking light you don’t need it to be self-propelled. I haven’t seen an issue yet with grass clogging up around the perimiter of the deck from mulching, as is common with steel and aluminum decks. Also, Echo was smart in designing it with rather large wheels on the unit, making it very easy to manuever around obstacles. So far I absolutely LOVE this thing and would highly recommend it to anyone with a city or suburban size lawn.

Mowed my lawn twice with great results. Not self propelled, but not a problem. The mower is light and easy to push. I like the simplicity and quietness. I also like being able to store the mower upright in my garage. It takes up a very small space. My lawn is small (less than 2500 sq ft) and flat. The LEDs on the battery show 50% charge remaining after I mow my lawn. Haven’t tried the bag. I mulch and it works very well. Highly recommended. Maybe 5 stars. Too early to tell.

Does a nice job ,powerful and quiet , using it as a mulching mower

I like this mower very much, light weight and easy to maneuver. I only rate it 4 because I had to return the original mower. The first one I ordered quit after about 20 minutes and would not restart. Home Depot was very helpful in returning it and reordering a replacement.

Love the mower itself, but the battery doesn’t last and is very disappointing considering the price. I bought this mower last summer with the hope that it could finish my entire lawn on one charge, And it did, at least for the first few times I used it. After about 9 or 10 uses, the battery no longer lasted long enough to mow my tiny < 2500' yard!! As another reviewer also said, you have no choice but to stop and wait an hour for the battery to cool and charge again if you want to finish. Totally unacceptable. I certainly did not expect to need another battery after just one season!!I love the mower itself, it's easy to use and it cuts and mulches well. The battery on the other hand is just short of worthless after only one season, and considering the price of a new battery is cost prohibitive, I would not recommend this lawnmower. At this price, it should definitely come with two batteries, especially since there is room for two on board the mower. I am disappointed that this lawnmower can no longer mow my small lawn on one battery charge.
