All ECHO yard trimmer engines are certified with the highest EPA engine durability rating.
- Use a 50:1 ratio of fuel to oil mix for 2-stroke cycle engines, recommend using only fresh gas with a minimum octane rating of 89 or higher (mid-grade to premium) at all times
- 50:1 ratio equal 1 US Gal. 89 octane plus 2.6 fl. oz. ECHO PowerBlend gold oil or ECHO red armor oil

Started and ran fine. I did not use the trimmer head that came with it but switched to Oregon gator speedload head which so far works great. The only problem I’ve had is that the handle in the middle won’t tighten and swivels.

I have only owned the string trimmer a short time. One issue I have is the rapid load string trimmer presents a problem when removing the spent strings. You absolutely have to carry a pair of needle nose pliers to remove the string. They apparently lock up inside the holder. For the most part the trimmer starts and runs okay.

The handle is short and the grab handle doesn’t tighten well had to put a washer on one side to get it to tighten. I tried my friends before I bought this one and liked how it ran. Don’t care much for how you have to change the string, cheap.
