Make your yard work easier with this professional-grade ECHO GT-225 curved shaft lawn trimmer. With the weed wacker’s curved shaft, you can easily maneuver while completing your outdoor work. The GT-225 gas weed trimmer’s starter requires less pulling effort and makes for easy starts. The 2-stroke gas engine gives power in a lightweight, dependable package. All ECHO yard trimmer engines are certified with the highest EPA engine durability rating.

  • Use a 50:1 ratio of fuel to oil mix for 2-stroke cycle engines, recommend using only fresh gas with a minimum octane rating of 89 or higher (mid-grade to premium) at all times
  • 50:1 ratio equal 1 US Gal. 89 octane plus 2.6 fl. oz. ECHO PowerBlend gold oil or ECHO red armor oil
  • Backed by a 5-year consumer/2-year commercial warranty

    Purchased this model before last summer.The trimmer itself is a very good product.Starts easily and runs with good power.The trimmer head is another story.It is a nightmare.There is a learning curve with it,have to keep the rpm’s down and find a good distance from whatever your trimming for good results.However,the two trimmer lines wear very quickly.You will be changing them out at least once a cut,maybe much more.The last straw for me was last week one line broke off and hit my ankle,leading me to a LOL profanity laced outburst.I’ll be getting a new trimmer head for this unit ASAP.
