I own 4 of these. They are the best. I keep a new one just in case. Love the fact I do not have to wind the string, just cut, insert and go.

Very happy with my GT-225i weed trimmer. Easy to start; well-made. It is so much more powerful than what I had used before (battery-powered B&D), I have to yell “woah!” One suggestion: get a bump feed ASAP! Thank you for the videos, too. (Not sure why the videos, when he’s removing leftover gas, the gas is yellow, since you do not ever want to run one of these without 2-stroke oil (50:1) in the gas, and the oil makes the fuel BLUE!)

As a woman of 78 years of age this is exactly what I was looking for. It does start easily and lighter weight than Sears Black and Decker.

I am a middle aged female and like a lot of women (and men), I do not know a lot about weed eaters so I would like for them to come with a good instruction book that is easy to understand. My only complaint about this purchase was that this weed eater comes with an instruction book in three languages. The languages are not divided into their own sections or in three different books. All three languages are jumbled together and it makes it hard to follow along. They need to make an instruction booklet where English has its own section. The way their book is I just gave up and figured it out on my own. My wish is that ALL products would come with instructions that are one language only, meaning have the various languages have their own section or own book. Don’t mix up all the languages in the instructions. It is very confusing to me. Granted I am middle aged and my eyesight is not as good as it used to be, but I can’t be the only one who thinks the instruction manual is a big mess. If I didn’t have experience with weed eaters I would not have been able to figure anything out from the instruction book. It was only my experience that allowed me to figure it out and get it going.

Works nice, starts easily

The head on this unit is not a bump head. So far it would seem you have to keep putting line in the head physically to make it work efficiently

Echo Quality!! What more can I say! My 13 year old echo will be sold to some lucky person as a perfectly working item! The new unit works flawlessly and gives me one less problem in my life. Do yourself a favor, spend a few extra dollars for quality! Quality doesn’t cost- it pays!!

Great for trimming, less good for edging

This really has worked out well. I was a bit skeptical due to it’s small size. However it has done excellent even on heavy jobs. Very light and handles heavy duty jobs. I use this trimmer on 1.2 acres which about 1/3 of my property is heavily wooded. being as little as it is I didn’t think it would do very well. It also does excellent around our hedges, lawn, and flower beds. It is really worth the money.

Best trimmer I have ever owned! Bought this trimmer last winter when I also bought a CS352 chainsaw. Easy starting nothing compares to it. The dealer also recommended the SPEED FEED HEAD and that is the only way to go! My dealer took a lot of time going over the trimmer and how to also maintain it. Echo has a lot of how to videos for both their saws and trimmers.DO NOT BUY FROM A BIG BOX STORE! My dealer made sure my trimmer and saw was working properly be for left. I used the trimmer all summer long and it was flawless.
