I like how light it is. It has a lot of power. I love the tap the head line release. I don’t like that it seems to be hard to start. Doesn’t start on first, second or third pull. Usually takes about 10 pulls. That’s frustrating. One more thing I only use it once a week so if I was someone using it daily it probably would start on first or second pull.

Very similar to ECHO trimmer I have owned for decades with little trouble. Problem keeping hand grip loop from rotating around the shaft as I am trimming. Old unit didn’t have this problem. Otherwise, not problem starting, trimming and replacing string.The correction of the problem mentioned should be easy.

This is my first Echo product and my first time using it.I found it light in weight, easy to start, and great at cutting when the line is exposed.With that said, the line broke off and I had to put one side back through the whole to expose it.The line in the spool unwound some and was difficult to re-wind.I chalk part of this up to the fact that I am a first time user, so part of it could have been me.In hind-sight, I probably should have gotten the strait shaft model instead of the angled one.Over all, I think that I will love it once I get used to it.

It’s fantastic. Love small Japanese engines. If you are 6 ft tall buy the straight shaft. That was my only mistake.

Comes wwell packaged. I’ve had a straight shaft for 20 years and the curve in this one takes some getting used to. I’ve only owned it for three weeks at the end of the growing season. It threw me off a little. Starts quite easily. bump feed works well but of course i haven’t had the opportunity to restring it. Restringing can be the unpleasant part of owning a weed whacker and i don’t care what the youtubers say. Some DIY youtubers know what they are talking about and some of them are a danger to society.
