The ECHO hedge trimmer HC-2020 is lightweight and offers professional-grade features for dependability. Its 20 in. blades offer superior cutting performance and twice as many cutting edges as the remaining bush trimmer competition. A zero-type grease fitting and tool-less air filter cover makes maintenance easy on this gas powered hedge trimmer unit.
- Use a 50:1 ratio of fuel to oil mix for 2-stroke cycle engines, recommend using only fresh gas with a minimum octane rating of 89 or higher (mid-grade to premium) at all times
- 50:1 ratio equal 1 US Gal. 89 octane plus 2.6 fl. oz. ECHO PowerBlend gold oil or ECHO red armor oil
- Bush trimmer features a 21.2 cc professional-grade 2-stroke gas engine

I have had mine for a couple of years, and I will say, this is more of a commercial hedger than a homeowner unit, which is what I like. The hedger has a quality build to it, it is solid, not something I would expect to find in a big box store. I did purchase mine at a commercial lawn equipment store. Also, I use the Echo RedArmor fuel that HD sells… I attribute the ease in starting, on the first or second pull, on the Echo RedArmor fuel. The hedger does a beautiful job on the hedges and shrubs. It may be a little heavy for some folks, but I find it well balanced, which makes cutting those straight lines easy with little effort, no matter if I am cutting the tops or sides of the foliage. If you have a few hedges, and don’t mind the size, I would highly recommend this hedger. And the Echo RedArmor fuel, I would suggest using it, it keeps the carburetor clean along with the spark plug, and no ethanol, which will destroy these small 2 stroke motors in short order.
