The professional-grade ECHO PAS-225SB power head comes with a lawn trimmer attachment providing an economical and versatile way to add to your yard tool arsenal. Compatible with up to 11 ECHO attachments. Tool-less coupler for easy switches between attachments. All ECHO yard trimmer engines are certified with the highest EPA engine durability rating.
- Use a 50:1 ratio of fuel to oil mix for 2-stroke cycle engines, recommend using only fresh gas with a minimum octane rating of 89 or higher (mid-grade to premium) at all times
- 50:1 ratio equal 1 US Gal. 89 octane plus 2.6 fl. oz. ECHO PowerBlend gold oil or ECHO red armor oil
- PAS straight shaft trimmer features a 21.2 cc professional-grade 2-stroke engine
- PAS weed trimmer comes with a 5-year consumer/2-year commercial warranty

This trimmer is very well balanced and easy to handle. Very easy to start. I got all me weed trimming done in no time. This is a HUGE upgrade from my electric Black & Dekker Weed Hog. The thicker line lasts much, MUCH longer than what the weed hog used. I’d have gone through a full cartridge of line on the weed hog where as I only had to bump the line feed on the echo 3 or 4 times. The 5 year residential use warranty is pretty good too.

This trimmer was exactly what I ordered. I had one like it for about 5 years and lost it off my trailer. It never failed to crank on second pull, first pull if it didn’t need the choke. Never had any problems with it. always used premixed gas, never had a problem. Have a Stihl had to replace the carburetor every year. Won’t ever buy another Stihl.

My 11 year old echo finally bit the dust. I tried the Husky first and it seemed under powered and the frickin gas cap leaked plus it seemed too short. I went to the attachment friendly Echo and it seems to have a lot more power despite the engine being smaller and seems to be made better overall. Echo truly is superior.
