Description

ECHO’s PAS-225VP weed trimmer and lawn edger kit is part of the Pro Attachment Series (PAS) and can a accommodate up to 12 attachments. It starts easily and works effectively. The grass edger attachment is perfect for creating manicured sidewalks and the lawn trimmer attachment powerfully cuts through tough grass. This kit features a power head with a 21.2 cc 2-stroke cycle gas engine. All ECHO yard trimmer engines are certified with the highest EPA engine durability rating.

  • Use a 50:1 ratio of fuel to oil mix for 2-stroke cycle engines, recommend using only fresh gas with a minimum octane rating of 89 or higher (mid-grade to premium) at all times
  • Straight shaft trimmer and edger kit features a 21.2 cc professional-grade 2-stroke engine
  • PAS weed trimmer and edger kit comes with a 5-year consumer/2-year commercial warranty
  • Includes powerhead, trimmer and edger attachments

    I haven’t used the edger yet. The trimmer line tends to break off inside the trimmer head. So every time you need more line you need to disassemble the trimmer head then reassemble it, and then load the line. Not a good design.

    Outer box came destroyed, inner packing was loose and parts were not secured. Would have been nice if it came with a shoulder harness. There was no instruction on how to assemble some of the parts. The gas tank smelled like gas had been in it before, that was interesting but I looked into it and I guess that’s normal from testing. Overall the tool seems of high quality. We’ll see how things go in the spring.
