ECHO’s PAS-225VP weed trimmer and lawn edger kit is part of the Pro Attachment Series (PAS) and can a accommodate up to 12 attachments. It starts easily and works effectively. The grass edger attachment is perfect for creating manicured sidewalks and the lawn trimmer attachment powerfully cuts through tough grass. This kit features a power head with a 21.2 cc 2-stroke cycle gas engine. All ECHO yard trimmer engines are certified with the highest EPA engine durability rating.
- Use a 50:1 ratio of fuel to oil mix for 2-stroke cycle engines, recommend using only fresh gas with a minimum octane rating of 89 or higher (mid-grade to premium) at all times
- Straight shaft trimmer and edger kit features a 21.2 cc professional-grade 2-stroke engine
- PAS weed trimmer and edger kit comes with a 5-year consumer/2-year commercial warranty

I have owned several weed eaters (electric and gas), I bought my son a STIHL (which does NOT come with detachable fixtures) and this ECHO for myself two years ago (though it may be a different model). First, his was a weed eater only so he was constantly borrowing my ECHO for the edger, We also have had to have his STIHL repaired 3 times (the first time it was under warranty). Fortunately I have only had a tune-up each March. I bought him his own ECHO for Christmas.

I have honestly only used it twice due to late arrival because of that virus but it’s a great unit. I bought a straight shaft Echo weed wacker from Home Depot 10 years ago and now it starts on the 1st pull, even after sitting for 4 months of winter. DO IT, BUY IT! It’s a great piece and a great addition for me at least. Just be sure to run non ethanol fuel or pump gas with a ethanol treatment for the mix. I do pump fuel…ethanol, with Lucas ethanol treatment….10 years says something.
