It’s a nice blower. I bought for it’s noise level and it’s definitely a lot quieter than the craftsman blower I have. My only knock on it is the plastic that it’s built with is in no way as durable as the 10-15 year old craftsman I have, none of the new ones are. Performance wise I’m happy with it but I doubt it will last as long as the craftsman that just won’t quit. Been using it for about three weeks and seems to run better each time I use it.

I purchased this to replace its equivalent model Echo leaf blower purchased 20 years ago. Right out of the box I noticed improvements in the locking method for the pipes, and a slightly lighter weight. It also blows a bit stronger than my old one and is much quieter. The gas tank is a little smaller, requiring refilling more often but it’s not a problem. My old Echo died when the spark plug wire got worn through from vibrating inside the plastic cover, but it took 20 years. If this one lasts that long I’ll be happy.

Have only had the unit for a few months but find the blower easy to start. The running unit is the quietest blower I have used. It does not seem like the power or output gets to 191 MPH and had a little trouble moving damp leaves. This is my first Echo, having retired my Ryobi Backpack Blower due to problems with the choke/run lever. I hope this Echo will run well the second season.

This is NOT a commercial grade blower by any means! That said, for my wife to use it is ok, but a little heavy for one arm. Compared to many blowers I have used, the noise level is excellent. As far as gas efficiency, I can get out 4-6 hours of use from a tank full of gas mix using medium power.

The low noise issue is no different than my previous ECHO Leaf Blower. I would definitely recommend using 100% gas with the oil. The ECHO 191 model does not like ethanol 10% in the gas tank.
