This blower the pb580h works amazing on blowing the leaves away from everything so I can mulch them up. The only thing I wish I could change is the throttle, I wish it would be on the handle so I can control everything with one hand. Other than that amazing product

Just bought the PB-580T and have not looked back. I have been using the neighbors orange-white backpack and decided to finally buy my own. After research and thinking about how good his equipment, is, I decided to purchase the Echo. He now wants to use my Echo as it has more “ho-hos” than his. This unit started right out of the box, ran great, and restarts quickly with few pulls. This is one purchase that I do not regret. Price was also fantastic!!

Purchased this backpack gas blower from a dealer 3 weeks ago. I bought it after reading reviews and talking with an Echo user. This unit is simple to operate. It has enough power to blow even wet leaves. I have a third acre lot and my old electric blower would take about 6 hours to completely clear my lawn of leaves. My first use of my new echo resulted in a time of two and a half hours. My second use resulted in a 2 hour time to clear all the leaves. I like the ease with which I can change the air cleaner, spark plug and fuel filter. My only suggestion would be for the company to add a waist – chest strap which would help keeping the shoulder straps from sliding off my shoulder. Other than that, it’s nice to by something that is well made and really delivers . Getting rid of the leaves is now fun and less time consuming.

I’ve had this blower for 2 months. This is a hurricane in a can… Love the hip throttle which lets you blow behind bushes while holding branches up. Beats dragging around a long heavy power cord which you have to roll up and store later.

I swore that I would never buy a blower as so many are too loud.. I maintain 1.5 acres with lots of deciduous trees hence many leaves! To my surprise the PB-580HT are rated 70db which is quiet as blowers go so I started my research. Having owned an Echo GT-1100 string trimmer with little problem Echo was a serious contender. In the end the Echo won out and I have not looked back! This is a great and powerful leaf blower! I was able to peel back decades of matted rotted leaves to bare dirt quickly and found it worked great in the flower beds as well.. The PB-580 starts easily on 1-2 pulls and it is easy to pull too.. Also of note with the large fuel tank I can go for 2 hours without refueling.. For build quality I found the PB-580 was professional grade and in fact many professionals choose Echo. If it’s good enough for a contractor it’s good enough for a homeowner!If you want quality results choose quality tools and you won’t be sorry!
