Man this blower can blow some pine needles,grass clippings,dirt, or whatever you put in its path! Even when it just recently rained. What took me 1-2 hrs to sweep and rake now take me 10-15 mins! My only problem now is I wish i had more land now to have more use for it lol. I live in a residential neighborhood and my lot is only like 7,600 sq ft and this thing works like a champ. I highly recommend it.

Upgraded from a Toro electric blower. I became tired of the 100 ft extension cord getting caught on things and coming unplugged from the wall. If time isn’t on your side, this will be a huge help. For me this machine is probably overkill due to my small yard, but what used to take an hour now takes 15 minutes. And it’s a blast to use. A bona-fide grown man’s toy.

Had trouble right out of the box then I realized the quick start guide really did not match the machine I had. So, I looked it up and had to print out my own instructions – 38 pages- which I feel should have come with the machine considering it’s cost. Pictures on the instruction could have been better. No chest strap which would be nice considering the weight of the machine. The warranty length is nice and it does seem very powerful.

Highly recommend this machine. This is my second Echo of this class. My first died after 16 years of use and actually due to operator error as someone filled it with fuel without the oil additive. This new and improved version is an absolute pleasure to operate, has great comfort features, and is very powerful. If you are looking for a machine that will wade through the deepest pile of wet leaves, sticks, and debris, the Echo 580 will get the job done before you’re ready to quit. My wife says I look for excuses to use it, like blowing the car dry after washing. Lol My only recommendation is don’t loan it to anyone without proper fueling instructions!
