The 580 was purchased as a replacement for an aging PB-220 hand held Echo blower so as to deal with the increased amount of leaves on our new property. That old blower was handed down to my son and although 20 years old, still performs well. The 580 hits a sweet spot for me, not too big and not too small, the Goldilocks size. Hope it holds-up as well as that old blower.
