ECHO’s PE-2620S straight shaft edger has a contoured, die-cast metal debris shield with a cut-away open face to reduce clogging. Get superior power and durability in an easy to maneuver unit when crating that crisp edge between the lawn and sidewalk. The PE-2620S has easy start ability and the bellows fuel transfer system reduces heat for easier restarts.
- Use a 50:1 ratio of fuel to oil mix for 2-stroke cycle engines, recommend using only fresh gas with a minimum octane rating of 89 or higher (mid-grade to premium) at all times
- 50:1 ratio equal 1 US Gal. 89 octane plus 2.6 fl. oz. ECHO PowerBlend gold oil or ECHO red armor oil
- Captive wheel mount for easy wheel height adjustability

Just purchases and used once so far. It is a solid well-made unit. I’m impressed how easily it starts. The real test will be after several months to see how it holds up to the gasahol sold at the pumps. Fortunately, I live nearby where a local dealer still sells 100% gas.

This echo starts easy and predictably every time. 2 pulls with choke and 1 off and it fires up. There is plenty of power to go through heavy wet soil. My yard had not been edged since we purchased the house 4 years ago and I needed to catch up on the overgrowth on our sidewalks, driveways and damage from the winter plows pushing my yard over the edge of the curb. This echo had quite a challenge to clean up all of the mess I had going on and it delivered flawlessly. It does get a little heavy after using it for over an hour straight but that is not something most people will have to deal with. Straight lines like sidewalks were easy as expected, and following a curved patio was surprisingly easy as well. Overall I am extremely satisfied and would gladly recommend this to someone else.
