I bought this is for my Dad, mine is 11 years old and still runs good. I use mine on the farm, clearing fences, and clearing around dads pond. Mine has never been to the shop for anything. I’ve only done basic maintenance on it, I also have 2 Echo chainsaws and a blower. Love them, and they always crank up and run, unlike the last brand new Stihl I bought a few years back!

I bought this from local dealer, used it for over a month on my two properties. Starts up easily every time. Light weight and very powerful. Also own echo timber wolf. All future equipment will be Echo

Very pleased with my cutter. Lots of power. A little heavy for my 78 year old arms, but ok. Would purchase this again.

Worth every penny….beats Stihl pricing hands down!

I have used echo for years. I recently got a new one and can’t believe how much the product has changed. It starts with no hesitation and the power is more than i had imagined. And very light weight for the size.

Great trimmer, 2nd in 3 years. Considering that I use mine daily, the 3 year old one still runs strong and the new one is nothing but better!

Echo makes great trimmers. I bought this one to supplement my older SRM-210. That one has been kicking around for at least ten years. I hope this one lives that long, but so far it’s great.

Have not yet had the chance to use it yet, but looks good although a bit heavy for this old man but perhaps that could be beneficial come this spring when I put it to use.

I’ve been using the same line trimmer for 30 years. It’s obviously been a good unit. After trying the one my son had recently purchased, I bought one the next day. Its a lighter, easy to start unit. I love it.

I bought this mower a month ago for maintaining my rental properties. Out the box, I noticed this thing was lighter and had the same or more power than my previous 2-cycle trimmer.I was hesitant to buy a new trimmer because I never got a handle on stringing the older bump head string trimmers. When they say this head makes it easy, they meant it. I cut the string 20 feet, fed it through and began the ratchetting motion. Literally takes me 2 minutes or less, every time. Also, the bump head works seamlessly. I hate stopping to re-string and this head allows it.Awesome trimmer. Is definitely worth the price. I’m glad I didn’t go cheap, like I normally do. Also, the warranty definitely helped my financial rational.

I upgraded from a Dewalt 20v battery powered trimmer. This Echo feels solidly built and the motor is powerful so I am happy there. My two complaints would be that it can only be turned on one side when edging or else it shuts off (this happens to be the opposite side that I am comfortable with, but hopefully I will get used to it) and more importantly it’s much harder to start than I would like. Takes a good 10 HARD pulls to start, and that includes following the instructions with the choke, primer, gas etc. I am not sure if this is normal or not.

Great tool for my 4 acre property. Good power love the rapid load. Have run it 3 times and it is showing oil leakage by the muffler area. Was told o rings have not seated yet. Hope they are right. Impressed with performance.

A very good trimmer that does everything you could ask of it. However, I found one problem that is universal to all trimmers. The bump knob is made of plastic and will wear right through when bumping for more line on rocky surfaces.. Make the bump knob of heavy gauge steel. My stock knob broke through from one days use.

It works great for residential use. Also comes with a perfect 5 yr warranty

Its cuts great even though it’s 21 cc, it has a very powerful engine although when I edge, sometimes, the engine will kill if there is not enough gas (about a half of a tank) however, that could be fixed and it doesn’t always happen. Also, my head on it loads great however its gets jammed and its not too easy to bump it but despite the jams and the edging kill, the unit works great!

Weed whacker works great for residential needs.

Good trimmer. Plenty of power. I did go back and buy a shoulder strap. This trimmer replaced an MTD which turned in the opposite direction. That’s not a big deal but you have to get used to it. The string guard is a little small but I still give it 5 stars.

I bought this machine when my old weed wacker broke and I didn’t have time to make repairs. This machine cut through heavy vegetation on my front road banks fairly easily!! I was using .095 line.
