Trimmer is nicely balanced, very powerful and easy to use. I am not the biggest fan of the trigger, it is a bit awkward for me.

Echo makes great trimmers. I bought this one to supplement my older SRM-210. That one has been kicking around for at least ten years. I hope this one lives that long, but so far it’s great.

It performs beyond my initial expectations

Echo says 5 pulls or less from a cold start. Nope. Not even right out of the box. Once the machine is running though, it works great and usually starts back up again quickly. But not always.

I returned this after 2 uses. Maybe I’m just accustomed to my old 20v battery powered trimmer, but this thing had too much power and not enough control. Butchered my edging. Also, it didn’t start nearly as easily as I expected based on other reviews. I gave 3 stars instead of 1, simply because I’m sure some of my issue is being unfamiliar with gas powered trimmers.

I have used many brands and models of trimmers since they came on the market in the mid 70s and this trimmer outshines every one i had used or owned. i was going to add a brush cutter but it has enough power do most of what i am clearing. I t also is the only one that the Bump and Go feacher has ever worked and this trimmer is a joy to use. the only negative thing i have to say is i had never had a speed loading head before and the instruction manual does not provide the instruction on how to restring it but a quick trip to youtube had a very good video,

I’ve been using the same line trimmer for 30 years. It’s obviously been a good unit. After trying the one my son had recently purchased, I bought one the next day. Its a lighter, easy to start unit. I love it.

A very good trimmer that does everything you could ask of it. However, I found one problem that is universal to all trimmers. The bump knob is made of plastic and will wear right through when bumping for more line on rocky surfaces.. Make the bump knob of heavy gauge steel. My stock knob broke through from one days use.

So far so good! I have not use it yet! But looking through the hardware and futures it seems to be a very good trimmer! It has all the futures that I wanted !

Bought this string trimmer to replace an old one that I was given to use for my small lawn mowing business. It is a high quality product at a lower price. Had a couple questions about it, called customer support and they resolved my issues/questions quickly.
