Excellent trimmer. The only reasons I rated it 4 stars and not 5 are because the first one I purchased was dead on arrival. It simply would not start. Also, it is awkward to start the unit because it requires hou to pull the trigger in as you pull the starter coil.

I bought this because it was an echo to replace my 15 year old echo that died. So far I love it. I am tall and like the extra reach. I also like the extra capacity fuel tank. This thing is an absolute monster and will cut through cattails with ease. My only detraction is that it is much louder than my old 225 so hearing protection is a must. Overall, just a good reliable Echo tool
