excellent brushcutter. The only thing that I would change is the harness; which I did I am using a Husqvarna harness instead of the Echo harness that came with the unit. I will say this,, this machine is unstoppable. I have weed/brush cut a few acres of land and this thing never slows down; never bogs down.. it just cuts and cuts and cuts.. Highly recommend.

Before I get to the five star part (which this trimmer absolutely deserves), let me explain a few things that didn’t go well. I ordered this machine and paid for expedited shipping as I had a job to do right away. It was supposed to arrive in two days. After two days I checked the tracking and low and behold, someone, somewhere, decided to change the delivery date without contacting me at all. So, I called Home Depot and they refunded my shipping fee (almost made up for the money I lost). The machine arrived five days later in a beautifully packaged box. The trimmer was mostly together except for the handle, throttle cable, and wiring hook up. This would have been easily assembled, however the nut had come off of the throttle cable and had fallen inside the packing. Since the directions were dark and difficult to see, I didn’t realize the nut existed for a while. After finding the nut and assembling the machine , it started immediately. I have to weed-eat a half acre hill that is as steep as a ski run. This is one of the most powerful, lightest trimmers that I have ever used. It literally attacked my hill. Using the trimmer with the pricier Echo harness is a must and should have been included with the machine for the price, but it wasn’t. You won’t be disappointed with this trimmer (I would like to give the machine six stars)!

Easy to assemble, easy start, and excellent cut. I use it to cut brush so I use the blade (not included).

Fantastic machine! I’ve had the Toros, Ryobis, Troy Built and other common “weed-eaters” out there. They are fine for short-term small jobs around the house. BUT…This tool is SO much more powerful, easy to use, quieter, professional. Sure, it costs a hundred or two more but it’s very worth it. I started using it in some thick brush with ivy, vines, grasses, and small saplings and, even with the string trimmer attachment (haven’t used the blade, yet), it tore that mess up! So, for now, my recommendation is >>> 5stars… The only problem I had was the shoulder harness it came with. It’s got this big badge or warning sign attached to it… can’t get it off the strap and can’t wear the harness with it jabbing me in the neck. Had to use an older strap I had laying around and it worked fine. Anyway… GREAT MACHINE!!! GET IT!!!!
