The x Series ECHO SRM-2620U grass cutter redefines performance for professional landscapers. It offers a choice of either a Speed-Feed trimmer head or blade (blade sold separately) to handle any clearing task. The brush saw’s comfortable u-handle and shoulder harness allow all-day use with reduced fatigue. All ECHO brush cutter trimmer engines are certified with the highest EPA engine durability rating.
- Use a 50:1 ratio of fuel to oil mix for 2-stroke cycle engines, recommend using only fresh gas with a minimum octane rating of 89 or higher (mid-grade to premium) at all times

We recently built our dream home on an acre of wooded land. Upon settling in, our next priority was fire mitigation, which meant clearing brush, tall grass, weeds, and small trees from our property. This brush cutter is perfect for that application. It is powerful, reasonably lightweight and well balanced using the supplied shoulder harness (the harness is not the best, but it serves its purpose). The string supply head works well for the tall grass and thick weeds along the driveway. When it time to reload the string head, it was very easy to reload. But in our neck of the woods, scrub oak is the name of the game. Its everywhere! I purchased the 22 tooth cutter blade and this combo plows through 2″ scrub oak like nobody’s business. The unit was easy to assemble, starts first pull, and is very powerful. As other reviewers have noted, ear plugs, eye protection, boots, long pants are all a must. The only test I still have to perform is the test of time. In this case, no news is good news. With proper care and maintenance, I expect the unit will perform well for many years.
