It’s heavier than my previous Ecco and the engine cover on this one is aluminum and gets hot! This causes you to not be able to use your right elbow as leverage, makes using it more like work. That said, it’s powerful and the tank of gas lasts a long time. You’ll burn thru the head pretty fast so get a few spares ahead of time.

I had a couple of these srm266 and T models but there heavy it’s a shame echo got rid of the srm230 it was a lighter then this unit and the 266 is not that much more powerful then the srm230 now all I buy in my company is the 2620 and the 225

This is the best trimmer investment I have ever made. This trimmer is powerful, East to start and easy to use. The trimmer head/transmission along with the “razor” cutting line really gets the job done. I have places where a lawn mower or riding mower can’t go, but this trimmer is great! We’re building a new house on 3 acres and new neighbors who purchased an adjacent lot has one and recommended it highly.
