This is an excellent trimmer. It is much more powerful than the 21 cc and other 25 cc models I have used. It trims grass and debris with ease. I have owned several echo trimmers and this is the best so far. The line is very easy to change and you do not have to remove the head. It is a quick feed through 2 ports in the head and some clicking of the head to wind it up. i have also used Red-max and Stihl and always come back to ECHO.

A monster of a string/brush trimmer. Very powerful and fast at what it’s built to do. Bought the blade conversion kit for when I need it and ready for action any time there are weeds present. Doesn’t bog down like home grade string trimmers. You will love it! Doesn’t show any pity on tall and thick weeds. I also use the Black Diamond string with this trimmer and in seconds whatever it is you’re trimming/cutting is all gone!

I only buy Echo weedeaters for thier reliability. I still use some more then 20 years old and they have never let me down. Recently bought the new 30cc with high torque and the power is amazing. Bought as an upgrade from an echo 210 that I’ve owned for nearly 15 years. Use a separate brush cutter but need a weed eater that can handle thick weeds, small brush and other growth on hillside, fence line, creek banks, etc on our farm. Luckily, I waited until this one came out. It’s the best weed eater I’ve ever used! Have tested it with both .095 and .130 string. The small stuff, it has no problem or lag in clearing to the ground. It’s the same with the thicker/tougher growth too. Also, it’s very easy on gas and we usually operate about 4 hours each time. It starts so easily and you can hear that it’s got so much power and torque from the start. It doesn’t bog down once you’re working either! I can already tell that it’s going to great reduce cutting on the regular cutting we do.
