The brush cutter itself is great. Very powerful and able to cut underbrush easily. However, the blade that comes with it is not very good. Wore it out in about an hour of cutting thick brush. There are much better carbide blades out there that cut better and last longer. Also, do yourself a favor and get the better Echo harness, as this cutter is kind of heavy and will cause you to tire without a harness to help carry the weight. I really like this commercial grade machine. It does the job very well.

I had no problem with assembly. The harness was a little difficult but managed

Heavy duty enough for cutting heavy brush and saplings; light enough to be used for extended periods of time. I’m using the cutter in north Florida to reduce rank re-growth in the openings in forest left by tree blow-downs by hurricane Michael. The tool comes with a harness that is clumsy to put on. The premium Echo harness (~$40 add on) is far superior, having well-padded shoulder straps and a belt to share the work of carrying the tool between hips and shoulders. There is a wide assortment of aftermarket blades available at reasonable prices.

Plenty of power, starts easy, multiple attachments for anything from grass to 2 1/4″ trees. If you’re using line, either get the 3-line head .155 line, or the 450 head and use .105 line.

have not had chance to use it yet. have to travel 123 miles will do in the fall. Echo needs to make the one small belt bigger than 40 inches for a bigger persons.

I found the echo machine to be as good as Stihl or Husqvarna , but when the price difference between Echo and the others is taken into account. Echo stands out.

No complaints, put it through days of heavy cutting and got it done.

Light weight and powerful enough to get the job done, and also was easy to start

After a lot of research and plenty of videos decided this was the machine for me. Easy to assemble has plenty of power and starts easy. Cut through limbs up to 3 inches and bramble with ease using a green viper hybrid or renegade blade. Well built and takes a lot of punishment. Great buy for the money

Very happy with my decision to purchase this unit Easy to assemble, started right up. And has plenty of power to cut all I need it to. I would recommend to upgrade the shoulder harness for comfort though, the standard one that is included is not very comfortable.

Really strong. Very pleased with it. Starts easily, cuts small trees and scup brush like you trimming grass.

This brush cutter has a ton of power and will make cutting small trees and underbrush a breeze. The only thing I didn’t like were the lack of instructions on how to put on the heavy duty harness.

Works great.

Really awesome for clearing thick brush.

The blade that comes with this cutter becomes dull within one hour of use. Terrible quality blades.

This will get the job done. It goes thru ½ diameter brush like a weed whacker goes thru grass. I used it on a large brush area cutting many 1 to 2-inch branches. It just eats thru everything. I have only used it for 1 day but it started easy every time. It is a beast though and must be used with the included harness every time as that is what it is set up for. The harness is comfortable and makes using the unit a breeze.Highly recommended.

The unit went together in approximately 30min. I used the included harness a couple of times and upgraded to the better Echo harness. It was worth it. I used a Renegade blade instead of the included blade (Watch Project Farm on YT review of different brushcutter blades for an unbiased review). The unit starts easy and runs well. I get a little over an hour on a tank of gas (must be premium with 50:1 oil) with hard use. I have 34 acres with a lot of scrub trees and brush that needed removal. This works great. WAY easier that bending over with a chainsaw. I can cut them down right at the ground level with no problem. My chainsaw, if I hit the dirt or small rock it was done and needed to be sharpened. This thing does not care. If I give it a gentle swing, it doesn’t even pause on anything 2″ and below. Above that, up to 5″ (I have a 10″ Renegade on the unit) I go a little slower. It is AWESOME!!!
