I used this blade to clean and widen over 150 linear feet of expansion joints and widen cracks in my driveway and sidewalks. Although this was my first experience using an angle grinder, the work went smoothly with the blade easily slicing through the concrete. It was cutting as well at the end of the project as it did at the start. The blade more than met my expectations. I used the blade with a corded Makita angle grinder that I purchased for this project. The only issue I ran into with the blade was that the packaging and on-line info on the blade did not state its maximum rpm which the Makita owners manual said I should check before using the blade. Home depot staff assured me that it would be safe to use it with my grinder.

I could not believe how fast it opened up some small 1/16th wide cracks in my concrete garage apron. You can’t fill a small crack in cement, but using the crack chaser made a perfect V in the cracks and allowed me to fill with epoxy and self leveling caulk. Very easy to use on an angle grinder.
