I now have about 4 of these stationed around the house, all are working great. Shipping was from the manufacturer in CA and was really quick after ordering. I’ve had one from a previous purchase that failed, but it may have been that it got too hot; it was in a cabinet in my RV that that gets pretty intense sun when it’s oriented that way, so not the edimax’s fault.

It is an amazing product. I bought it few days ago. It was easy to install and easy to manage it from your smart phone. My weak signal bye bye.

I use this to extend my wireless network it does the job inside the living room and outside on the deck.

Hope it functions outdoors under extreme heat and cold. Don’t worry I don’t have it contained in a water tight box.

This is my second EDIMAX brand purchase. Here’s why: For reasons I won’t go into, we needed a bridge to run an older HP printer that is wired only. We would like to place it with a newer printer that is wireless but that location does not have a convenient ethernet port. For under $20 (US) this unit does the trick and it installed faster than the updated printer driver downloaded, I kid you not. My only complaint is this works on 2.4GHz, but again, for under $20 and for this speciality use printer, NO big deal. Long story short, EDIMAX gear works.
