Would not recommend this to anyone. It crashes when I try to connect. Keeps causing blue screens on my system and the system reports a major error after it automatically reboots. The driver seems very unstable.

The unit fried after only one week of use. Given the low price, it wasn’t worth the trouble of sending it back. It installed without any trouble. I didn’t even have to enter the router credentials. Push the buttons on the Adapter and the router and within a few seconds it connects. I purchased this to allow my 2.4 GHZ laptop to work with my 5 GHZ router.

I had some trouble installing the software due only to my computer being so old, but I called Edimax and the customer service guy was incredibly helpful, and stayed on the line with me for 45 minutes until everything was working properly.
