Excellent tool. I’m 5’3″ so this one is a proper length of tube (another one was way to long). This tube is also a nice size to dig thru small areas(2-3″ oval tube) (other one was a good 5″ round opening & didn’t allow me to “dig” into a river rock border). Not overly heavy, good bag size, nice mulching ratio. LOVE that I just flip a switch to convert from vacuum to blower (main use is vacuum).Haven’t installed the wheels, maybe next spring I’ll give that a try.I feel like it took about 20-25 min for the batteries to die, but I got most of my vacuuming done in that time. 2 batteries is a hassle, in that it takes twice as long to recharge… if I remember to swap the batteries after #1 is charged. Batteries & charger are quite expensive to get a second set. All in all, this is a great product and will not be returned.

The machine was too big for my needs. I have small courtyard and it’s too big

I’d been searching for a long time for a cordless unit like this, with the same instant switching between blower and vac that I’d been using for many years in electric models. When I first saw this product online, I was disappointed that it wasn’t available in the U.S., so I was quite excited when it finally did become available here (through Home Depot), and was glad I hadn’t already purchased either the Ryobi or the SunJoe that were previously available (but had rather bad reviews). My intended use for this was primarily to clean up after mowing and edging. I blow debris from the driveway or patio, toward the grass, then vacuum up the line of debris along the edge. It works quite well for this purpose! I also wanted to vacuum up the small leaves (I doubt it will work well with large ones), flower petals, and other debris that fall on my areas of artificial turf and shredded bark. It does this well, also. If I accidentally suck up some bark, it mostly just rattles around in the vacuum tube until I let go of the trigger, then it falls back out–which is exactly what I want it to do.NOTES: It was amazing how compactly the unassembled parts were packaged. (When the box came, I thought in disappointment that the unit must be much smaller than it actually is.) And assembly was quite easy, even without looking at the instructions. After assembly, it wouldn’t turn on. I finally noticed that one of the two batteries had not snapped completely into position. But then it STILL didn’t seem to work. Then I realized that it doesn’t just turn on instantly when the trigger is squeezed–it hesitates for at least one full second, then begins to ramp up, so that it takes two or three seconds to get up to full speed.I’m a little annoyed with the trigger, because when vacuuming, I tend to tip the front down further, and the weight distribution makes my hand want to slide further back on the handle. Unfortunately, the trigger doesn’t work well from further back, so the unit keeps shutting off (and remember, it hesitates when you turn it back on). I’ll probably put a Velcro strap around the handle, and slide it forward when vacuuming to hold the trigger in, so I can hold the handle more comfortably. The collection bag is better designed than other (corded) units I’ve had. It’s about the right size, and doesn’t hang on the ground, and the zipper is well-placed for quick emptying. Others I’ve had were placed part-way up the side, so a lot of the debris wouldn’t fall out without shaking things around and stirring up a lot of dust). I’ve read terrible reviews about the bags on other products of this type, so I’m pleased with this one. Also, the rectangular attachment loops that hold the bag onto the unit don’t keep coming unhooked–which was a major annoyance on previous products I’ve used.I’m glad it comes with an adjustable neck/shoulder strap. I’m not sure how much I will wear this during operation, but I do use it to hang the unit up in the storage shed.I’m not really using the wheels yet, because I tend to move the unit from side to side more than forward and back in a straight line. I do appreciate that the wheels are much larger than other products I’ve owned, but I wish they were on a swivel, because then I’d put a lot of the weight on them instead of supporting it with my arms.I ordered the dual charger and the higher capacity 4-Amp battery pair to go along with the unit. This brought the price up higher than I originally wanted to pay, but I think I made the right decision. The batteries charge rather quickly, and each time I’ve used it so far, the batteries haven’t drained more than half their energy. So far I’m very happy with this product, and I love, love, LOVE the convenient freedom from dragging out, dragging around, and then putting away, a long extension cord every time I use it!!!
