These were not what we expected. The plates were extremely flat and the glaze on the large plates was very dull. The bowls were also very shallow. They had an Asian feel to them and it’s not what we were looking for. The actual product had no variation to the glaze. They are much prettier in the photo. However, they were packed really well and nothing was broken. I was very, very impressed by that. Also, the manufacturer put a card in the box that let you know that they would replace anything broken for up to a year, no questions asked. I just wish we had liked the look better. We ended up returning them.

The set came packed well, and in pristine condition. The set is very dark brown top, a lighter brown rim, and black bottom. Plates are thin, and mugs feel sturdy.
