I paired this with my Sony Alpha 1 and it works perfectly, just as described. The picture quality is phenomenal and it allows me to use any of my camera’s picture settings, manual settings, auto settings, whatever I’d like. This literally turns your camera into a webcam and your computer doesn’t know any different. Perfection.

The quality and stability of the signal is superb. It’s great.

The cam link is a must have for those who are looking to finally ditch their webcam. The difference is impeccable. The installation for the cam link is so quick and easy to do, I was able to set everything up during the same day of my livestream. It seriously upped the quality of my stream (along with the key lights)! I could never go back to using a webcam ever again.

So glad I decided to upgrade from a webcam to my DSLR with the help of my camlink. The jump in quality is amazing and I can’t see myself removing this little gadget from my setup anytime soon

Used this for over 2 years and it’s done me proud! Plug and play makes it easy to set up. Just make sure it’s in a USB 3.0 port and everything will be buttery smooth!

When i first started streaming, I was not aware you can use a mirrorless camera to stream. This product made the process extremely simple. All I had to do was plug it in and that’s it. Highly recommend this product

I bought this to use my dSLR for Zoom meetings and recordings, as I needed to develop some video course materials for online learning. It has been brilliant with my MacBook Pro. It worked the moment I plugged it in, and detects my Canon 90D as an available camera every time. Between meetings and course videos, I’ve used it 3 dozen times or so now, and it has been brilliant.

The device just works, and the image is great. I use it on a MacBook with FaceTime and Google Meet. You can use it for audio also in your video conference. Takes the audio signal in the camera’s HDMI output and includes it in the USB signal along with the video. Flawless.

I purchase this after eating all the YouTube videos of how this turn your camera into a webcam. Upon arrival I installed it with an older camera, Nikon D5500 and worked great. I tested it 24 hours on that day. No problems 1080p, 24, 30and 60. So I wanted another one for my GH5 but it was out of stock again. I purchased the second from Adorama. I have no problems so far with either cameras.

I bought this to record myself playing some of my switch games and it has worked – most of the time. It was always very finnicky and would occasionally just cut out the video and freeze in the middle of a recording session. Well, today, in quarantine, I tried to find a way for friends to play fun party games on the playstation 4 and stream the game together, and the device just decided not to work. Like, at all. Audio cuts in and out, and video doesn’t exist whatsoever. I am extremely disappointed and the amount I paid for it was too much. Not recommended.

Bought two of these units. Really wanted them to work. And sometimes they do! Randomly though the captured image will go completely green and purple. Have to unplug and replug power off and power on repeatedly to get the normal colors back. Google reveals others having same problem. Can’t find any solutions though.

It just works One of my biggest pain points in technology is having to re-learn every single piece of hardware and software elgato has just made it simple plug and play operation it just works and sometimes that’s what you need it just works and that is the best thing I can say no mess no fuss no downloading anythingJust plug and play

I bought 2 of the Camlink 4Ks to link up a Sony A6400 and a Sony A6500 for a multicast streaming setup. They work as intended and provide reliable performances as well as high-quality video signal for both my gaming streams as well as for Zoom calls for work. The small form factor and included USB cable extension makes this a useful accessory on a PC setup already laden with many peripherals. Hopefully Elgato can make a Mark 2 that’s smaller and has USB-C connectivity.

I purchased this to use my Canon EOS R5 to live stream my kids concert for the school. The simple plug and play setup, that was simple to just change the camera on the YouTube stream settings was so easy and just worked. The one down side I found with this unit, 3840 x 2160 is great for 4k, but the true 4k at 4096 x 2160 isn’t supported so it dumbs it down to 1080p.

I debated on using my DSLR for streaming because I was too lazy for more more cable management but in the end it was 100% worth it, I love the quality on stream and it immediately connected when I plugged it into the 3.0 slot (I used a hub at first like a dummy). It’s lightweight but not at all flimsy so I’m sure it can fit in any setup. Absolutely recommend!
