I was always interested in making my own snacks but was a little skeptical on how this really works. I can now make my own dried snacks and I am making granola and tons of other things! I would highly recommend this product. I have lots of recipes in mind to make throughout the winter months! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Great product; right size for me to dehydrate my pears from my tree this season; great material, easy to use, very quiet… thanks!

I’ve only had this about 1 month, and thus far, it’s been great. I’ve made two batches of beef jerky and both were excellent. Simple to use, and a breeze to clean up. All the racks are dishwasher safe. I think this is an incredible appliance for the money. We’ll see how long it lasts, but it appears to be very well made.

This has a layout with a rear fan. The Elite has sturdy wire racks that won’tcrack while removing sticky things like dried bananas, but the gaps in the mesh are large enough for small things like blueberries to fall out. The removable solid tray makes it easy to clean fallen bits out of the bottom of the unit. The lowest heat setting is 160°F, which is high for drying herbs or delicate flowers, and the low fan speed slows the drying time. The timer has a maximum of 10 hours, so plan on checking and resetting the timer. The instructions say to only use it indoors, but mine is on the shelf under the awning of my RV. Don’t dry hot peppers indoors, unless you’re immune to pepper spray! It’s a good dehydrator for the price, and a good dehydrator for a beginner.

It’s lightweight and doesn’t feel like it’s heavy, sturdy or the best quality workmanship. But… it has metal racks and that is what separates this model from most of the other entry level/low end dehydrators. The digital displays are very loud when setting time/temp. We have tried to make our own spices and been a bit disappointed. The beef jerky has come out great!

This dehydrator is such a great addition to our kitchen. It’s larger than I expected and does take up a lot of counter space but I’m okay with that because there’s ample amounts of room inside to make large batches of dried fruits, veggies or meats at once. The programmable controls make this dehydrator very simple to use. It’s also very quiet when it’s in use. The front door opens and closes with ease. The racks are easy to clean. To use, all you do is place your sliced food items on the rack, set the temp and time and let it do its thing. Once the timer ends, the dehydrator will automatically shut off. This is an important feature for me because I don’t have to worry about over dehydrating if I were to forget to turn the machine off. This is truly a great dehydrator and I like how easy it is to use plus my fruits come out tasting amazing!

Nice simple electric dehydrator. One drawback is that the metal mesh racks are not dishwasher safe.Controls are very easy to use and simple. Just set the time and temperature on the front panel. The front window is big and gives a good view of the food as it dehydrates.I went a bit crazy and started a bunch of fruit when I first got it – apples, bananas, mango, raspberries blueberries, peach. These all need different times, so I was checking on it and removing different things as they were ready over about 36 hours. The timer doesn’t actually go to 36 hours, so I had to reset it a couple of times. The kids liked the apples and bananas the best, which was great – very easy and cheap! The raspberries concentrated the sourness, and ended up a bit tough, so we probably won’t repeat that. Some of the food wanted to stick to the racks, but they would pop off once it was dry. Not a deal breaker, but wish it was better about that.It comes with six wire mesh shelves and one plastic tray with tiny holes (which I used for blueberries).Haven’t had a chance to make beef jerky yet, but that was my primary interest in this machine – should by yummy and happy to make some jerky without weird flavor or added “stuff”.

So I decided to bite the bullet and get an actual oven dehydrator and try my luck with it. Boy, am I glad I did! I have another brand of dehydrator that wasn’t enclosed in and I gave up dehydrating because, quite frankly, the thing just didn’t work right! However, this one! Let me tell you, it is impressive! Over the weekend I processed some cilantro, raspberries, bananas and strawberries. They turned out exactly as I was hoping AND the time recommendations were SPOT ON! I am so excited to continue this journey in dehydrating because I enjoy food preservation so much. This dehydrator is perfect and it was not expensive at all. I will have my money back in no time at all from all the dehydrated foods I will not have to buy at the store anymore! Highly recommend this!!!!!!

This dehydrator is so much bigger then I expected! I turned it on and it’s so silent! I thought it would be loud. I was wrong..I dehydrated strawberries and they were done pretty quick and my bunnies were happy with the results. I have a airfryer and it’s pretty loud and not this machine it may take up a lot of counter room, but boy does this appliance make me happy. The quality is unstoppable!

I like this dehydrator compared to an old one I have. This is made of stainless steel compared to my first was plastic. With my plastic dehydrator, after a few uses, I notice some plastic somewhat melting or getting deformed. So far I am happy with this unit – it’s bigger than I thought it was. So far was able to make my furbabies their chicken/turkey treats – that came out great. The fan was fairly quiet. The program worked well. I recommend using a grill sheet though, as clean up of the tray may pose to be a challenge.

My wife has talked about getting a dehydrator for years and when we got a chance to get this one we grabbed it up, Nice clean look, matches many of our counter top appliances. It is big, but a dehydrator kind of needs to be. So all good there. I love the six shelves, can get a lot done at once, we did a full cantaloupe on three shelves. The buttons to control it are touch button, which helps with it’s clean look and with the ease of cleaning it. The problem there is it is a little slow to react to your touch and you can’t really tell if it took your command. So be patient and slow, so far that seems to be the key. As far as function goes, it seems to be about on par with others, Temp goes up as high as 160, but most the recipes we have looked at don’t require even that high of a temperature. We cooked a whole cantaloupe today in about 8 hours and they came out great, racks cleaned up easy.

My husband and I enjoyed using this! It was easy to use and has sleek design. We already make beef jerky and t was so tender! My husband works a busy day and almost always is eating beef jerky so this just made it a healthier and some what cheaper option for us! I can’t wait to make fruit leather for my kiddos
