I am loving this food steamer. Where has this been my whole life. You can steam everything from eggs to rice to fish. There is a auto shut off which I love. Also on the steamer itself there is a little cheat sheet to tell you how long to steam what foods. Each holder/tray can hold 6 eggs. The top part the plastic trays are collapsible so it makes storing it much easier when not using

I couldn’t wait to try this out, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Three tiers so you can cook a full meal, steams quickly and evenly, not a lot of fussing around and VERY easy to clean. One pot dinner? I’m all in!

I am serioulsy impressed with this steamer! The set up was extremely easy (add water, set components in place, turn knob) and the unit has cooking times listed directly on the side for commonly cooked items as well as a longer list in the manual for simplicity. We steamed artichokes to test it out using their cooking recommendation and they turned out perfectly. In addition to ease of use, I was happy to discover the components are top rack dishwasher safe for easy clean-up and the unit is designed where the components stack in a specific way to make it much more compact for storage. The manual shows how to compact it down for storage. I definitely recommend the Elite Platinum Steamer and look forward to many more meals made using it!

I recieved a sample Elite Platinum 3 tier 8.5 Quart Food Steamer for free from TryItSampling, and I have to say, I really like it. The removable, stackable parts are hand wash or dishwasher safe, which I like, because there are several parts. The stackable steam trays and lid don’t really hook together, so it’s a little nerve racking to set them on top of one another, but as long as you know what you are doing and have a steady hand, it’s easy. The vents in the trays allow steam from the bottom device to permeate the food, while letting juices and such drip into the water below. I cooked calabacita squash and chayote squash on top, potatoes and onions in the middle, and carrots on bottom. They all cooked evenly and were still juicy. I think this device is great, but you have to remember that whatever foods you put in will be dripping a bit on one another. Overall, I really like this product.

When I had first received this I was not sure exactly how I would like it. I was eager to see though so I opened it and used it immediately. I had steamed carrots, onions, bell pepper the first time. I was amazed at how well it ended up working. The food came out tender but so good.

I’m so excite to find out a food steamer that comes with 3 trays so I can steam more food at the same time than I usually could. It’s very easy to use and set up. I steamed frozen dumplings, frozen buns and some vegetables one day. The material is mainly plastic but it works well and the steam food comes out fine. I only wish there would be a better way to store all the parts, because it takes quite some space in my cabinet.

received my Elite Platinum 3-tier 8.5 Quart Food Steamer and love it!! made making dinner a breeze..its Triple tiered with a 60-minute timer. i was able to make my veggies and fish at the same time.. everything tasted delicious!! this morning i used the BPA-free trays that are each equipped with six egg rests for boiling eggs. we all ate boiled eggs for breakfast.easy to use and easy clean up.. i love it . i would definitely recommend this

I am absolutely in love with this food steamer! I love the fact that it has 3 tiers and is 8.5 quarts. I can steam chicken, rice and vegetables at the same time. All of the food comes out delicious. I made brocolli the other day and the kids loved it! This is also great for the summer so I do not have to use the stove or oven and get the kitchen so extremely hot.

Worked wonders for the Eggs and Peppers. Have yet to try fish and poultry in it. Make sure you cut up anything or set the timer higher if you have vegetables you want to steam perfectly.I am sure using rice in it as well would make it a meal for anyone who was a looking for a big meal. It was a bit difficult to store away after using it a few times.

I love this food steamer! It is so easy to use and makes great tasting meals FAST! My first meal was salmon with steamed seasoned rice and corn on the cob. I had to the opportunity to try the Elite Platinum 3-tier 8.5 Quart Food Steamer free through a manufacturer promotion. My first impression was not good. Plastic rings that you set on plastic “plates” that also have been designed to hold and steam eggs. The base of the unit is nice, it has settings and a timer along with an automatic shut off feature. Since I love steamed veggies in Summer, I am able to use it outdoors and not take up space on the counter top or stove. The rings that the vegetables are set into, which lays on a flat plastic disc, are roomy enough for a head of cauliflower or broccoli. My main problem with this is that if you want to check the doneness of the food in the lower level, it is darn near impossible to remove the upper two “racks” without the hot food falling out and getting burned. Yes, it happened. These are NOT steamer baskets by any stretch of the imagination nor are they self contained. Almost any food that can be steamed in a traditional basket steamer can be used here, from fish to eggs. It is dishwasher safe and is easily stored. I would prefer the ring attached to the disc so the entire unit can be moved to check the cooking process of separate leves. I have since learned to place dense food on the bottom rack as I can judge the cooking process then add the other racks later, one at a time so I can check the cooking . I like the fact that I can steam multiple foods at the same time and dinner is ready in less time..
